Summer Staycation 2024 is almost here and we are READY to help you make it one of the best!

Crazy that it will be our 11th year offering Staycation lessons, experiences and events in and around our hometown of Burlington, Ontario. When we began all those years ago, the Burlington Beach was a ghost town with hardly anyone coming to play on its shores. Over the years, we’ve seen the beach blossom with visitors coming to enjoy its shallow clear waters. Our locally family owned company has always concentrated on providing ECO- Friendly, sustainable tourism for our region and this Summer will be no different.

Over the winter months, we have been hard at work on your old favourite programs as well as new experiences. There is lots of updates and news that will be shared over this Summer as we reposition to serve our clients and community better with the changes that were handed down from the city. We will still be on the beach for the majority of our classes but have expanded our area with SUP Explorer to safely introduce you to many of our other favourite local waterways.

Creating awesome Summer fun for our community never stops and we are super excited for you to join us this year as we rev up for the BEST Summer yet with Water, Beach & Land programming.

WATER PROGRAMS 

Sign up for our water based programs and enjoy life on the water. Water classes have always been the core of our experiences and we love empowering our clients to safely enjoy the lake with our comprehensive lessons and experiences. We’ve added some over 50 classes as well as programs for teens this Summer so everyone has a place to learn with their peers.

Learn to Paddle board – A MUST do for anyone spending, or wanting to spend time on a paddle board safely. We go through ALL the things you need to know including safety, weather forcasting, float plans and of course all the paddle skills you need. Beginner 12+ and 50+ classes available.

SUPexplorer – Our clients just love our newest programming. Join our leisurely guided paddles to safely introduce yourself to some of our other favourite local waterways. Alot of preparation goes into safely paddling and we will look after all the details for you. Did we mention there are on the water snacks included. Pick your choice of OPEN groups to join or book a private experience within our available times. Full rental packages or BYOB options. Kayakers are welcome to join.

Moon Events – We adore the moon and our signature Full & New Moon Beach Yoga practices bring the magic to the beach. Each one is special according to the moon we practice under and include a special ceremony at the end. Solstice and Equinox are equally as special. All classes are open to all levels and beginner friendly. The vibes are amazing and we can’t wait to see our Yoga tribe on the beach once again. Watch out for on the Water social paddles.

Beach Yoga – Enjoy a weekly beach yoga class with your toes in the sand next to gentle waves as we kick off another season of weekly beach classes. These are perfect for all levels. Experienced yogis can step up their practice with the added balance needed on sand and newbies can find the extra grounding it provides. Each session is 7 weeks and single classes are available once the series begins.

Floating Mediation & Sound Baths – Find your ZEN in our blissful water and beach experiences.

Paddle Club – For those just wanting time on the water, we offer rentals right after our scheduled classes so you can take one of our stable, awesome boards for a spin around the lake. Book ahead and we will be on the beach waiting to gear you up.

Girls SUP & Leadership “camps” – For your older tween or teen, this program is all about teaching SUP skills and enjoying time on the water or beach. We include fun games and activities to highlight leadership skills and coming together with your peers. Floaties and supervised beach time included. A great program for those too old for camps but still want to get together with their peers and do awesome stuff.

Social Paddles – Join us at the Sound of Music, Perseid meteor shower and more for some social, leisurely paddles. Make new friends and enjoy life on the water.
