Downtown Burlington Explorer

Are you new to Burlington? Visiting our beautiful city?
Join us in this easy walking tour of Downtown Burlington including the waterfront. We will be doing a loop of the downtown area including the waterfront and some of the hot spots of Downtown Burlington. Featuring Spencer Smith park, our waterfront and downtown core route to check out some of the classic hot spots of the city.

We are so excited to be adding LAND tours to our list of fun Staycation activities.

These curated walking tours are fun experiences perfect for almost everyone. Perfect for anyone new to the area, visiting or wanting to check out the best spots and learn some interesting history on our beautiful city of Burlington, Ontario.

Each curated walking experience will last between 2-3 hours on mostly flat walking grounds. We will move together as a group at a slow to moderate pace. There will be plenty of opportunity for pictures and questions. We will meet at pre set co ordinates and begin with a short meet & greet before we begin our chosen route.

Foodie tours will include samples at each restaurant we visit and are an awesome way to learn about the city while discovering new favourite dishes and learning about the businesses that serve the community.

No transportation, parking or park entries etc included if applicable.

FREE Downtown Burlington Walking Tours

How to find us

Driving: the closest place to park is the parking garage above the Visitor Information Centre. Access off Locust St. Paid parking with credit card or HONK mobile app; free after 6pm weekdays and all-day Saturdays and Sundays.

Transit: Burlington Transit bus terminal is two blocks east of the Visitor Centre. Most routes stop here.

Cycling: Dedicated bike parking is located outside the Visitor Centre.

Walking: the tour start is within a 5-15 minute walk of anywhere in downtown Burlington

All Downtown Burlington walking tours will begin and end at the Visitor Centre. A perfect central location to kick off any adventure within the downtown core.

What to Expect Downtown Burlington Walking Tours


*Our walks must be pre-booked online or by contacting us via email.

ALL WALKS RUN LIGHT RAIN OR SHINE. 

If you need extra assistance booking, or would like to arrange a private group please email us your request.

AGES – Burlington Downtown Walking tours are 12+ activities. Children in strollers may join when accompanied by at least one parent. Foodie tours are 18+ only.

CANCELLATION – Please note, any changes or cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance for free walking tours. There are limited spots in each walk and if you aren’t able to join this gives us the opportunity to open the spot to someone else that may be waiting. 

Foodie tours need a minimum of 48 hours to request a change of date.

The best way to safely introduce yourself to new to you waterways, be social & learn something about the places you are visiting.

Welcome to our guided paddles in some of our favourite spots in Ontario!!  These 2.5 – 4 hour paddles enable paddlers to discover new waterways in a safe way with experienced instructors. We look after all the equipment, planning and weather forecasting.

Our small groups will meet at the destination (map coordinates to be provided). We will then do a short meet and greet followed by a safety review/ experience overview so you know what to expect. Your guide will make sure you are ready to hit the water in style and comfort. These paddles are meant to explore nature and socialise while being on the water . We will be paddling at a slow speed for most itineraries with rest stops in the shade :) You may sit or stand. Book our set dates for group paddles or make your request! Kayakers may also join our paddles under Bring Your Own Boat.

No transportation, parking or park entries etc included.

This is NOT a class or a lesson. Most of us will be seated to enjoy being able to look around, spot wildlife. Our SUP lessons or Women on the Water series are excellent for learning all the skills you need to conquer the Paddle boarding world <3

** The final call for safety is the instructors. In the event of inclement conditions, we will either reschedule or you may choose from one of our upcoming experiences or paddles

Every girl needs at least a few blissful beach days with her girls living her best life..and we are here to help you do just that! Our super awesome GirlFriend Friday Staycation Beach days are back for Summer 2025!

Not only that but we have added a few SINGLES Beach Days so we can mix & mingle.

FABULOUS FRIDAY STAYCATION packages will include everything you need for a great beach day making memories! Bring a few friends or come on your own and make new one.  We set up everything for you, you just walk in and enjoy. 

Each Fab Friday Beach day will begin with an all level Beach Yoga class along with a meet and greet so you will know everyone in our little group. All BeachSpots and Floaties will be close together for easy socialising.

Your package will include:

  • Beach Spot with comfy beach wedge chairs (2 ppl./umbrella)
  • Morning Beach Yoga Class
  • Anchored Deluxe Floaties waiting for you in the water.
  • Frisbee & Beach Games
  • Lunch delivered to the Beach with Dessert from one of our fav downtown dessert spots that are also featured in our Dessert Walking Tours !

EXTRAS 

You may book a Paddleboard Rental during the afternoon. 1 person per SUP only. 90 minute rental including safety equipment.

*Our Retreats RUN LIGHT RAIN OR SHINE.  We we will make a call for weather up to 10 pm. the previous evening. If water or weather conditions prevent us from offering water portion of the day, the items that were not enjoyed will be credited. In case of weather cancellation, you may reschedule with another upcoming retreat with space available or we will reschedule the day to another Friday or Sunday that month.  Day structure and/ or classes, rentals may be altered if the need arises. Minimum number of participants needed. You may be asked to join a larger group on another date if needed. No refunds unless we cannot provide the experience on any dates during the season.

Join us (condition permitting) for a fun Social paddle off the Burlington Beach.

These fun ans informal paddles are a great way to socialize, spend some time on the water and enjoy time on the lake. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow paddlers and enjoy some laughs. There are people of all skill levels and SUP & Kayakers are welcome.

We will likely stay around the bay but if there conditions are optimal, may paddle to Spencer Smith. This is NOT a lesson, You must be experienced to book this rental.

We are offering 90 minute rentals for these events, available by pre booking only. For these events, we will pump up your iSUP and no delivery or pick up fee will apply. You will need to bring everything to the water from the parking lot to the lake for our entry.

Other paddles with other locations may be added throughouut the season. Please watch our social pages or join our Social paddle Facebook group.

Paddles run with light rain or shine. Please watch our social media for current information. We require a minimum number of participants to go forward. In case of inclement conditions, we may reschedule up to 3 hours before the event. Each event has a RAIN DATE or you may be allowed to join another upcoming paddle.  We reserve the right to refuse rental on sight if we believe there is a safety concern. No Refunds.
