Learn to  SUP with us (Stand up Paddle board) with us !
It is never too late and you are never too old to take up a new passion! SUP is a sport that can be easily enjoyed with adaptations long into your golden years.

Come join us on the lake and find out why Stand up Paddle boarding is taking the world by storm.

SUP (short for Stand up Paddleboarding)  is the absolute best way to get out and enjoy the water this Summer. With very little equipment ( a board, paddle and PDF) you can be ready to take on and explore just about any waterway.  Whatever you’re particular interests are..chances are you can use SUP to make it even better..versatility is a big part of the attraction!

Extra bonus…it burns up to 700 calories an hour and offers a full body workout, all while you’re having fun!! In this 50+ classes, you will learn with your peers and we will also take extra time to stretch things out before and after. Your body and soul will thank you for taking the leap and trying a new thing.

EVERYONE needs a lesson, even if you’ve tried it before. We teach you EVERYTHING you need to know to safely paddle going forward.

EACH LESSON INCLUDES: 

  • PADDLE BOARD CONSTRUCTION – tips & tricks to buying a great board
  • WEATHER FORECASTING & reading the weather on the water
  • SAFETY – everything you need to have on board + Ontario laws
  • BASIC & INTERMEDIATE paddle strokes
  • HOW TO STAND & move around on the SUP
  • PADDLING lakes, rivers & oceans
  • FLOAT PLANS & more

Our eldest client so far was a 91 year old gentleman and have to say, even though he couldn’t walk that well. When he got standing on the board he could out paddle others in no time. It was a proud moment.

Full Strawberry Moon this week to kick off our programs

The Strawberry Full Moon arrives on Wednesday and it’s going to be extra special for Summer 2025. Hanging low and bright, it’s a special point in its cycle and will appear larger than any other until 2045!!

A very fitting beginning for our Full Moon Beach Yoga practices this season. We are calling all of our beautiful Yoga Tribe from the past 12 years to join us on the sand for a beautiful all levels practice in 26c. This beginner friendly and soul nourishing practice will be followed by a blissful Floating Meditation class and you can do BOTH for the full Moon lovers experience! We will enjoy a special Fire Ceremony at the end which is perfect for Instagram captures.

The best way to explore area waterways. Family and beginner friendly leisurely paddles in Nature. Wildlife spotting. On the water snacks provided. A must do experience this Summer. Choose from our OPEN group dates or book your own time.

SINGLES SUNDAY

Girlfriend Friday Staycations are back and we’ve also added a twist with Singles Sundays. A packaged blissful beach day including morning beach yoga, shaded seating, anchored floatie and lunch delivered to your spot on the sand.

Dessert Walking Tour

Clothes the drapes, crank the heat and let’s talk Summer Staycation 2025!
Despite the crazy snow and chilly tempertures right now there are only 90 sleeps until our most favourite time of the year officially begins.

May long weekend has always been the official kick off to Canadian good life and that is also the weekend we open all programs. Can. Not. Wait. Browse our classes, experiences and events to sign up for some awesome things to look forward to.

This Summer sees many of your old favourite programs returning like Learn to PaddleBoard & all our Beach Yoga programming. We are also updating some programs. Our popular and empowering Women on the Water Stand up Paddle Board series is back and we have added a Level 2 as long promised. This intermediate program is perfect for graduates of level 1 or girls that already have basic paddle and safety skills down.

Our client favourite SUPExplorer Guided paddles were so much fun last year. We have a blast sharing time on the water with both residents and travellers alike. These beginner and family friendly paddles are the perfect way to spend time on the water, enjoy some wildlife spotting and make some classic Canadian Summertime memories. You can choose from our open small group, set paddles or book your own private experience via Google Calendar.

Girlfriend Fridays are also back featuring a whole day of beach awesomeness including beach yoga and lunch delivered to you. We’ve also added SINGLES SUNDAY Fundays, same programming but only for single people ages 30+  A super fun way to meet other people and live your best Summer life.

Land Ho! Our newest land based programs are returning starting with the delicious Downtown Burlington Dessert Walking Tour. This super fun walk combines area knowledge through our waterfront stopping at the best spots to sample a curated line up of mouth watering sweets.

Lastly…and certainly not least. We have one more land program coming soon. This is an experience we’ve been offering for years internationally and have decided its time to bring it home to Burlington. This should be launched by mid March.
